Terms and Conditions

By using PetFunding, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

We run and maintain a website that processes donations on behalf of the campaigns featured on it. For this service and support we provide to them, we charge a flat fee of 7% on all payments collected. All donations will go towards the chosen fund raising campaign; even if the fundraising target is not achieved. We regret that no refund will be provided.

Our service works with PayPal internationally to ensure that all donations go directly to the chosen recipient automatically – and in real time. In addition to PetFunding’s 7% fee, users are also agreeing to a PayPal charge of 2.9% and £0.20p per donation. Read PayPal’s Terms & Conditions. All fees are deducted from each transaction automatically so you’re never billed for anything. PetFunding is not the same company as PayPal and their fees and commissions are subject to change without notice from us.

PetFunding User

As a PetFunding user, you are using PetFunding for the sole purpose of advertising genuine campaigns for sick and injured pets in need of help. You agree that the money raised is exclusively for the campaign you have advertised and you must not misrepresent your campaign in any way. Any wrong doing or breach of this policy will result in a formal investigation and a possible criminal offence.

When creating a new campaign you can save and edit your campaign at any time before you publish it. On clicking publish, your campaign will get sent to PetFunding for review before it is officially listed on the site. Once published you can no longer edit your campaign but you can add messages, updates and any progress information to the “Updates” section from the front end of your campaign (you must be logged in to do so.) If for any reason you need to edit the written content in the campaign then please Contact Us.

When creating an account for a new campaign, users must submit their PayPal email address for receiving payments in the “Funding Details” section of their profile page. It is your responsibility to make sure you submit the correct PayPal email address for receiving payment. We are not held responsible for incorrect account details once payment is sent.

The online donation page you publish will be publicly available on the internet, for all to see, including search engines like Google and Yahoo. There are no private or hidden PetFunding donation pages. Your activity is public.

Please remember PetFunding is for everyone. We’ll remove offensive content on the rare occasions when we find it – and we may terminate membership as a result. Please also make sure that the content you upload to the site, especially pictures, is not copyright-protected.

You are independently responsible for complying with all applicable laws in all of your actions related to your campaign and use of PetFunding’s services.  In addition, you must adhere to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

This Website allows you to donate and raise funds for any of the causes listed on the Website which could include raising money for; adoption fees, animal care, animal rescue, animal shelters, pet surgery, relocation, vet bills and other animal causes that are listed.

Every Cause featured has an agreement with PetFunding that their campaign is for the sole purpose of advertising genuine campaigns for sick and injured pets in need of help.
